Orlando's Standard Started in the Field
Orlando's Landscaping is still family-run, still field-led, and still built around the idea that when your name is on the work, the finish has to be right.
Orlando started the business on the side in 2001, working evenings and weekends out of Carlisle, KY while holding a full-time role with a regional tree-planting company.
That background was not small residential planting. Orlando ran a crew of about 10 people installing trees on farms across the region, with semis, skid steers, large crews, and farm-scale logistics.
That is why Orlando's Landscaping is comfortable with work many residential landscapers will not touch. The company owns tree spades, handles 80-inch root balls, and approaches large planting with equipment experience behind the decision-making.
The fleet includes skid steers with tree spade attachments, mini excavator, dump trailers, Dingo, stump grinders, seeder and aerator.
Orlando is a perfectionist who loves the craft. He is known for going beyond what the job strictly requires when that extra pass is what makes the finished work look right.
The result is a family-run company serving Lexington and Central Kentucky with the family name on every job and the same field standard Orlando built from the beginning.

The work is scoped around fit, safety, equipment access, plant quality, and the level of finish the property needs.
PLANTING, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIAL FIT
We are strongest when the work needs planting judgment, equipment coordination, and a clean finished result across renovation, planting, tree planting, mulching, lawn mowing, and shrub pruning. When a homeowner needs layout help first, we start with landscape design guidance instead of forcing the project straight into installation. We grow many of our own plants on our own property, supplemented by regional suppliers including Wilson Nursery in Lexington and a bulk grower in southern Indiana.
SCOPE, SAFETY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY
We stay careful about what belongs inside our scope. Selective small tree removal, stump grinding, and similar site-prep work only happen when the job is low-risk, clearly scoped, and safe for the crew and the property. Insured through Liberty Mutual. All applicator licenses held. The equipment fleet is matched to the work before the crew commits to a plan.
