We walk the property in daylight to identify what you want to highlight — architecture, trees, pathways, or bed edges. Placement decisions happen here before any trenching or fixture mounting starts.

Wiring & Transformer Installation
Low-voltage wiring is run and buried along planned routes. The transformer is mounted and sized for the fixture count and run lengths. Undersized transformers are the most common reason lighting systems underperform over time.

Fixture Mounting & Aiming
Fixtures are mounted, aimed at the target surfaces, and checked for consistent spread. Path lights are set at consistent heights. Uplights are positioned for the angle that reads well at eye level from the street or patio — not the angle that is easiest to stake.

Nighttime Review & Adjustments
The system is evaluated at dusk with you present. Fixtures that are too bright, aimed at the wrong angle, or creating glare get adjusted before the job is signed off. What looks right in daylight often needs tweaking once you see it lit.
