Landscape Maintenance Services in Lexington, KY
A property rarely looks neglected all at once. It happens a little at a time. Weeds return, shrubs lose their shape, leaves settle into the beds, and clean edges disappear into the lawn. Orlando's Landscaping provides recurring spring and fall landscape maintenance for around 35 properties in Lexington and Central Kentucky. We handle the seasonal work before the whole property feels behind.

One Cleanup Helps. Coming Back Is What Keeps It That Way.
One visit can make a property look good again. Recurring maintenance keeps spring growth and fall buildup from becoming next season's larger project.
Orlando's Landscaping returns in spring and fall to clean the beds, control weeds, trim the growth that needs attention, restore the edges, and finish the property with fresh mulch.
The goal is not to change the landscape every season. It is to preserve what already works and keep the property looking cared for throughout the year.

Spring Opens the Property. Fall Closes It Cleanly.
Spring maintenance clears away what winter left behind. We remove leaves and debris, pull weeds, trim shrubs, hedges, and small ornamental trees, restore the bed edges, apply Snapshot pre-emergent, and finish with mulch.
Fall brings a different kind of buildup. Leaves settle between shrubs, late-season weeds appear, and plant growth begins to lose its shape. We clean the beds, handle the appropriate trimming and cutbacks, refresh the edges, and leave the property ready for the colder months.
Leaf removal is included when it is part of a complete maintenance visit. We do not schedule standalone leaf cleanups.

A Mowed Lawn Can Still Look Unfinished.
Freshly cut grass cannot hide weeds growing between shrubs, soft bed edges, overgrown hedges, or leaves trapped beneath the plants.
Our maintenance visits focus on the landscape beds and the details around them. We remove the buildup, trim for a cleaner shape, cut defined edges, apply pre-emergent, and install and level mulch for a finished appearance.
Homeowners who need recurring grass cutting can use our lawn mowing service. If the property only needs fresh mulch and bed preparation, our mulching service is the better fit.
How Landscape Maintenance Works
Each visit follows the same basic order. Clear the beds first, handle the plants and edges, then finish with pre-emergent and mulch.

Walk the Beds and Set Priorities
We review the property and identify the weeds, debris, trimming, edge recovery, and seasonal work that need attention during the visit.

Remove Weeds, Leaves, and Debris
We clear the landscape beds before trimming or covering anything with fresh material.

Trim, Edge, and Apply Snapshot
Shrubs, hedges, and small ornamental trees are trimmed where needed. Bed edges are restored, and Snapshot pre-emergent is applied before the mulch.

Mulch, Level, and Clean Up
We apply and level the mulch, clean the lawn and hard surfaces, and check the property before leaving.

Orlando and his team of helpers have been fabulous for our regular maintenance as well as all sorts of other things for us. Everything from cleaning out our gutters to replacing plants in our borders to planting trees to cleaning out fence rows to power washing a driveway to trimming hedges to installing a new border in front of a renovated house. Orlando has always been excellent to work with. Orlando and his team also maintain the six landscaped islands in our HOA. He is willing to help us with any of our landscaping projects.

We have used Orlando's Landscaping for our landscaping and lawn mowing and trim for several years. They are the best and very easy to work with. They have removed trees and planted trees and several bushes. Every recommendation has been great. Orlando has a talent for how the mulch beds should look and where new plants should be placed. We receive comments on well our yard looks and have referred them to several of our neighbors.

Landscape Maintenance Questions
Is landscape maintenance a recurring service?
Yes. Our landscape maintenance program is built around recurring spring and fall visits. We currently maintain around 35 properties on this schedule.
What is included in a maintenance visit?
A visit can include weed removal, leaves and debris removal, shrub and hedge trimming, small ornamental-tree trimming, bed edging, Snapshot pre-emergent, mulch installation, leveling, and final cleanup.
Do you offer standalone leaf cleanup?
No. We handle leaves as part of a complete spring or fall landscape-maintenance visit rather than scheduling leaf-only cleanups.
Is mulching included?
Yes. Mulching is included as part of our recurring landscape maintenance. Homeowners who only need bed preparation and fresh mulch can use our standalone Mulching service.
Does landscape maintenance include lawn mowing or lawn care?
No. Landscape maintenance focuses on beds, shrubs, hedges, seasonal cleanup, and mulch. Recurring grass cutting and turf treatments remain separate services.
Do you maintain commercial properties?
We primarily maintain residential properties. We may take on commercial or HOA landscape maintenance when the location, schedule, and scope fit our routes.
