A French Drain Is Not the Answer to Every Wet Yard

French drains help collect and redirect water below the surface. Buried downspouts carry roof runoff farther from the house. Grading and swales guide water across the surface. Dry creek beds create a visible route that can become part of the landscape instead of looking like a utility trench.
Some properties need one of these solutions. Others need a combination. We match the work to the water instead of arriving with the same answer for every yard.
The Trench Should Not Be the Last Thing You Remember
Drainage work requires excavation. That does not mean the yard should feel abandoned when the pipe goes underground.
We remove excess excavated soil and restore disturbed lawn areas with seed or sod, depending on the property and your preference. The goal is not simply to bury a drainage system. It is to solve the water problem and put the yard back together.
